Our Story

2022 – We took the decision to rebrand the business to reflect our current product offering, the company name was changed to Astra Supplies Ltd and our website was relaunched as Hazstore (hazstore.co.uk) offering over 10,000 products lines providing our customers both existing and new a convenient one-stop shop for all their workplace health & safety products.

2019 – Was yet another record sales year as we continued building client relationships and further increased and product range to include a comprehensive range of health, safety & ppe workwear products. Having forged good relationship with the UK’s leading manufactures and trade supplies over the last 10 years we were in a position to negotiate the best possible terms which allowed us to pass those huge savings on to our faithful customer base.

2015 – Was a record sales year thanks to our continually growing customer base has also grown five-fold since we started trading. Further product lines added such as materials handling, hazardous storage & tool storage.

2012 – Increased our product range further to include locker systems, cloakroom benching, cupboards & cabinets. This enabled to secure many supply contracts with school, colleges, NHS trusts and other government departments. Our website now offered over 3000 products.

2010 – New shelving ranges added to accommodate our rapidly growing customer base. These new ranges included the still popular Stormor, Euro, Longspan & Eclipse shelving systems. The new systems were added to our website taking our online catalogue offering to over 1000 products. We expanded our delivery options to cover the whole of the UK mainland to further increase growth.

2008 – AS Trading was established in Grays, Essex and operated from a small home office. Primarily suppling businesses across the South of England with our Spilltek absorbents and spill kits, a product range that is still one of our most popular today. Our first ecommerce website was launched specialising solely on the Spilltek® product range.
